I topped out at 280 when I had my daughter and I was back to my prepregnancy weight within a couple weeks. That was 235. Since then I have gained 5 or so lbs. I have 4 pairs of jeans that fit and not dress pants. I wear jeans every day to work and try to look as professional as I can. I just feel yucky.
This is a relatively boring blog about m y journey to lose weight, learn to manage my time as a mother and wife and teacher, and learn to cope with my role as mom. Really you probably would not want to read unless you are in need of a nap. It has now evolved into more of a random collection of thoughts and ideas.

Good for you for posting before shots and taking your measurements!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you on your journey! I look forward to following your success!
What a beautiful baby! I have a hard time leaving my toddler in the care of my other kids and my husband in order to work out. I am a teacher, too, and feel that I don't get to spend enough time with him. It is hard to get time to myself, but I know it is worth it in the end.
ReplyDeleteWe teachers can get so stressed that our bodies rebel. This is a hard time of year, so don't be too hard on yourself. :)
Hi, this is Meredith from the BPE. Well I guess I will have to post my before pictures too! I know exactly what you mean about the pants. I'm barely squeezing into these size 18s right now with effort but am dangerously on the edge of buying the dreaded Elastic Waist Slacks like I did last time my weight was this high. I am resisting though! I've put my information up on the Livejournal, so we can now be weight loss buddies!
